After waxing there is a possibility of redness or red spots (histamine reaction) for some hours. Do not be concerned, these will disappear. Find below some precautionary information for your benefit to avoid discomfort, skin reactions or ingrown hairs.

After Wax Care

  • If the skin is itchy or red, you can apply our Janesce Soothing Mist with a light application of Janesce Lavender Facial Oil.
  • Don’t touch the area! This can cause bacterial infections. Clean, clean hands only!
  • Any facial waxing may benefit with the use of Janesce Erodair Hair Retardant to help weaken any hair regrowth.
  • Avoid exposing the area to any form of heat for 12 hours. This includes sun bathing, using a sun-bed and/or solarium.
  • Avoid swimming in chlorinated pools, spa baths or the sea for 12 hours.
  • Avoid wearing tight clothing as this may cause excessive perspiration. The ideal environment for a build-up of bacteria.
  • Avoid applying makeup or perfumed products (soaps, deodorants, perfumes and body lotions) to the area for 12 hours – unless specifically designed for after wax care.
  • GENTLY exfoliate the area between your waxing appointments. This can help to prevent ingrown hairs dramatically.
  • Do not pick at ingrown hairs. Ask your therapist to look at them at your next visit. We have both treatment and preventative products to help (such as creams or spray applications).
  • Do not apply any moisturiser on the day of your next appointment.

If you have any questions regarding your waxing treatment, please get in touch with your therapist.

Janesce Erodair Hair Retardant

HOW DOES IT WORK?

When facial hair thickens and becomes visible, it is time to take control and make sure that any regrowth after waxing or depilation will slow and eventually stop. This is the purpose of Erodair. Created to slow hair regrowth over time, the weakening will be determined by the strength of the hair shaft. Day and night application will give the best results. Erodair is a progressive treatment and with patience, the regrowth will stop and waxing will not be required.

Excessive hair growth in females often resembles a male hair growth patterns and can implicate a hormonal imbalance. Janesce Erodair can help remove your unwanted facial hair.

Janesce Erodair is a permanent, progressive, safe and effective hair retardant. This little tincture has brought relief to many women suffering from hair grown on the top lip, chin and neck. Janesce Erodair has been trialed extensively with results that speak for themselves.

Erodair is a progressive treatment to retard excessive facial hair growth with women. Created from a blend of 6 herbs to weaken the formation of hair at the bulb. The herbs it contains are high in plant estrogens (female hormone) to counteract the effect of androgens (male hormones) at the hair bulb.

Frequent application weakens the hair cuticle and dermal papillae. Janesce Erodair also softens the skin due to the high concentration of estrogenic herbs.

HOW TO USE IT

Apply a few drops to the treated area and rub it in. Use morning and night on clean, pre-soaked skin. Friction skin before application if depilation has not taken place. Most effective for three days following tweezing, waxing or electrolysis; though daily application is essential for most benefit.
