About Us
Our Beauty & Spa Studio
Calm and wellness for your skin and soul.
lovesoul is a peaceful space of sanctuary, in the heart of Waimauku, Auckland, NZ, where you feel loved, and your soul nurtured.
Whether our most luxurious spa facial, a de-stress back massage, or a visit for beauty treatments such as waxing, tinting or a pedicure, our therapists give every visit and every treatment all our love and intention.
No quick fixes, no harsh practices, or harsh chemicals. Just plant-therapy, touch, and wellness wisdom. That's the Slow Beauty way. We focus on total body wellness to guide you into healthy skin. At lovesoul, we feed the skin. We don't strip it. We hydrate, we nourish, and we educate.
It is vital that we understand and work with the skin rather than against it. Finding the balance of skin care, diet, nutrition, and lifestyle is vital for all skin transformations, and any long-term results. Our wellbeing is influenced by the actions we take and the way we think, every single day. It's the time you put into loving yourself. Your WHOLE self.

Senior Beauty Therapist
Hi, my name is Emma, and I’ve been a beauty therapist since 1987. Over my years in the industry, I have worked a variety of roles from managing clinics to working solo from home. Wherever I have worked, my core philosophies have always been the same; working with skin and beauty from the inside out. I've been part of the lovesoul team since 2018, how time flies!!
My time here has been such a joy getting to know so many of our wonderful clients in our community and introducing them to our Janesce & Bestow Beauty skin care philosophies. It's been very rewarding working with you all getting the best from your skins. I especially love pampering through face & body spa treatments. Skin & beauty is totally fulfilling and what I love!

Our Branding
Our Name
Two simple words yet, love is soul and soul is love. An infinite energy of two words entwined. This energy or feeling incorporates my entire vision. How I want to feel; how I want you all to feel; how I want this space to feel. When you step into lovesoul Beauty & Spa Studio I want you to feel loved and your soul nurtured. I have chosen to keep lovesoul as one word and deliberately in lowercase to keep a subtle yet powerful balance.
Our Logo
The multiple meanings made it an easy choice. The individual shapes each represent both petals, droplets and leaves - meaning nature, water and botanical skin care. All aspects of the holistic slow-beauty movement. I intentionally chose three as a spiritual balance (mind, body & spirit) to support lovesoul's philosophy of the three cares; skin care, self care and soul care. As a whole the logo represents the name lovesoul perfectly.
The Slow Beauty Movement
We are proud to be a part of the Slow Beauty movement.
The Slow Beauty movement describes a fast growing sub-culture of beauty therapists who have lost faith in the 'quick-fix', often invasive products and procedures that abound in the beauty industry and are drawn to a holistic approach to skincare with a focus on dermo-nutrition, wellness and genuine skin health from the inside out.
The Slow Beauty movement is following a similar trajectory to the Slow Food movement and reflects a similar shift in values away from short-term convenience towards slower, deeper and truer ideals.
The tides of change are well underway and there is now a new generation of beauty therapists leading the way in holistic, 'slow' beauty.
